I’m Sandra, a Colombian-born artist with a background in architecture.
I’ve always been a visual storyteller who finds beauty in the tiniest details. I create patterns and illustrations with my heart … creating is where I feel closest to God.
I’m endlessly inspired by flowers, and constantly find myself drawing them in different ways. I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and exploring gardens, museums, and historic architecture. I’m happiest when I’m creating, whether I’m illustrating on paper, painting, or trying a new medium just to see where it takes me.
Every pattern I make starts from something personal, a memory, a place, or a moment that made me stop and smile. From my studio, I pour care into every line, always paying
attention to the details that make a design feel special.

Ballet Dreams ✨
When I was pregnant with my daughter (who is now 21!), I dreamed of decorating her nursery with soft pinks, ballet, teddy bears, and all the magic of childhood. I couldn’t find what I imagined… so I painted it myself.
I wish I had more photos of that room, I think I have a couple tucked away somewhere!
Those memories are exactly why I create these designs today.
Now, I’m designing what I wish I had back then, sweet, timeless patterns for wallpaper, fabric, and kids’ décor, made with moms in mind.

Today I’m sharing Florinelle®, a whimsical floral pattern that started as hand-drawn ink motifs during a playful afternoon in my studio. I scanned and refined each element in Illustrator, creating an imaginative, flowing design perfect for so many products.
Seeing Florinelle on blinds for a kids’ space makes the whole pattern come alive, soft, creative, and full of movement. 🌸✨

✨ Duck Island is my second collection of 2024, and one that holds such a special place in my heart.
It was my first time in London, and during one of our long walks we wandered into the most magical little park, the kind that feels like it’s been waiting for you. There were ducks wandering freely, tiny cottages tucked between the trees, and sweet little surprises everywhere you looked.
I wanted to capture that feeling… the wonder, the calm, the childlike excitement of discovering something beautiful around every corner.
So I turned those memories into a collection that tells its own story, whimsical, gentle, and full of charm.
Available in two colorways and perfect for nurseries, textiles, stationery, and so much more, Duck Island is now available for licensing. 🌿🦆✨

Cloud Dancer, Pantone’s Color of the Year 2026, has been getting a lot of mixed reactions… but I wanted to share a different perspective. 🤍✨
To me, Cloud Dancer isn’t “plain”, it’s a canvas.
It’s a color that invites creativity, balance, and softness.
A shade that can adapt beautifully whether you love neutrals or bold palettes.
Last year, Mocha wasn’t my favorite at first either…
but exploring it, playing with it, and pairing it with colors I love made me appreciate it in a whole new way.
Let’s approach Cloud Dancer the same way:
